Event Assistant - Internship
Tasks:
You will be supporting internal and external events.
Internal Events: management meetings, online meetings, workshops, trainings.
External Events: summit, exhibitions, trainings, networking events, press conferences, webinars, online and streamed events.
You will be following-up the entire process of each event with the Event Manager and have autonomous implementation of defined project parts:
- Contact with the external organisers
- Visual identity of the event
- Launch and follow-up of the invitations
- Build a network of reliable and competent suppliers (catering, communication material, print, furniture, delivery,…)
- Representation of EBRAINS during events (onsite or online)
- Collect statistics and success indicators, follow-up communication with potential new users
Extra tasks:
- Updating events calendar
- Support in general administrative and organisational activities
- Support of the Event Manager in administrative tasks and correspondence
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English (French is optional)
- Excellent command of MS Office Programmes
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign preferred
- Responsible and independent work manner
- Experience in event organisation preferred
- Experience with the organization and hosting of virtual events or webinars (especially Zoom) preferred
- Flexible, good communicator and team player
- Available for travel (National and International)
