Design Co-lab within the Virtual Brain Twin Project
This event marks the first of six total co-labs planned for the VBT project. Given its foundational nature, we aim to emphasise the theoretical aspects, particularly highlighting the voices of those affected by schizophrenia.
Our goal is to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, clinicians, policymakers, industry representatives, and patient associations. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions, we will explore innovative approaches, share best practices, and co-create advanced solutions in brain modelling and mental health research. This Design Co-lab presents a unique opportunity to engage in a dialogue about schizophrenia from academic, scientific, and patient perspectives, including the experiences and insights of families affected by this condition.
This event will not only be a platform for academic and scientific discussion but also a chance for those directly impacted by schizophrenia to voice their experiences and insights. Stay tuned for more updates and detailed information in upcoming communications. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of this exciting initiative. Together, we are shaping the future of brain research with the Virtual Brain Twin project. We look forward to your participation and valuable contributions!
The event will take place on 7 November 2024. The event is by invitation only – contact Blanca Beltrán Alonso, blanca.beltran@upm.es for any questions.
