France

Overview

The French National EBRAINS node (EBRAINS-Fr) is composed of a leading partner and Full Member (CEA), as well of a network of institutions, foundations and universities, several of which were active during the Human Brain Project and now contribute to the EBRAINS 2.0 project.

Services offered

  • Human brain data datasets (e.g., CHENONCEAU, HIP, etc)
  • Health research platforms (e.g., MIP)
  • Tools for multiscale modelling and simulation (e.g., TVB, PyNN, etc)
  • Tools for model inference (e.g., VBI)
  • Tools for analysis and statistics of multiscale brain data (e.g., Cobrawap, Frites, etc)

Services onboarding

The node, through its spin-off, the European Institute of Theoretical Neuroscience, as well as initiatives in several universities will provide advanced training programs on data management, neuroinformatics, and the use of EBRAINS tools and services, ensuring that emerging scientists are well-equipped to contribute to the future of neuroscience.
