MLCE - PPIs prediction
MLCE-predictions of PPIs is a Python tool that predicts the region in a protein most likely to be involved in interactions with external partners (i.e., other proteins or supramolecular assemblies of the same monomer. It is based on the Matrix of Lowest Coupling Energies, an energy decomposition method that performs in multiple steps, through initial decomposition of interaction energies, approximation to the first eigenvector and then filtration to select only the residue in close contact. MLCE thus represents the regions of the protein lowest dynamically coupled and this means that they are also the most prone to be involved in interaction with external partners.
