During a week in which EBRAINS was present with a booth and participated with scientific presentations at three major events - OHBM (Organization for Human Brain Mapping) 2024 Annual Meeting (23-27 June) in Seoul, FENS Forum (25-29 June) in Vienna and EAN Congress (29 June-2 July) in Helsinki - the Virtual Brain Twin project, which is coordinated by EBRAINS, launched its full website.

The main goal of the Virtual Brain Twin project is to create and test a digital platform for treating psychosis in schizophrenia patients, in particular providing guidance in medication. The central part is the digital twin of the patient’s brain, which is created using the patient’s own brain imaging data, complex modelling, and powerful computers, and offers new neurological services through advanced technology.
