Discover EBRAINS: New brochure provides an up-to-date look into Europe’s platform for brain research

The newly published brochure “Discover EBRAINS” provides insights into what the EBRAINS infrastructure has to offer in 2025 and how individual researchers and institutional partners can become part of it. With this new publication, joint CEOs Katrin Amunts and Philippe Vernier invite you to “find out more about all the ways in which EBRAINS can help you reach your neuroscientific goals.”

EBRAINS is an accelerator for multidisciplinary brain research, combining cutting-edge neuroscience, high-performance computing and artificial intelligence. Originally built by the EU-funded Human Brain Project (HBP), the EBRAINS research infrastructure is now being further developed within the EC-funded EBRAINS 2.0 project and with the support of a network of National Nodes and institutional partners from across Europe.

The EBRAINS infrastructure offers a digital research environment that connects many of the most advanced European lab facilities, supercomputing centres, clinics and technology hubs in a unique, integrated system.

Brain data, digital tools and scientific services offered by EBRAINS are organised in six main categories: brain atlases, medical analytics, modelling and simulation, FAIR data, models and software, collaborative platform and computing infrastructure. Brief overviews guide towards all the ways that EBRAINS can help take research projects to the next level.
