EBRAINS is pleased to announce that Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) has joined the EBRAINS AISBL as an associate member.
The membership will give CHUV the opportunity to co-design future iterations of EBRAINS’ cutting-edge tools and services, as well as strengthen the collaboration across Europe in the field of brain science and health.
The CHUV is one of five Swiss academic public health care centers, and plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, research, teaching and training, in collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne.
With its mission lying at the crossroads between medicine, sciences and humanities, CHUV offers a personalized approach to patient care. Several national and international collaborations allow CHUV to deliver the best possible care to patients.
“We are delighted to join EBRAINS as an associate member”, said Professor Philippe Ryvlin, Head of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at CHUV. “The membership strengthens our ongoing collaboration with EBRAINS, which involves the provision of Trusted Research Environments to the research infrastructure, and the coordination of the EBRAINS Switzerland National Node.”
“We are very pleased to welcome CHUV as an associate member at EBRAINS”, said Professor Katrin Amunts, Joint-CEO of EBRAINS. “CHUV is a long-standing collaborator of EBRAINS, leading the development of the HIP for sharing Human Intracerebral EEG data.”
