EBRAINS Hackathon in Athens

Join us for the EBRAINS Hackathon, which serves as the combined second hackathon on the EBRAINS Software Distribution (ESD) and a workshop focused on scientific workflows within EBRAINS.

The hackathon offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the ESD and the EBRAINS software ecosystem in general and to integrate scientific workflows in EBRAINS, while also facilitating networking with like-minded individuals and knowledge sharing.

This year’s event emphasizes work on extending support for ESD customization and performance validation.

Core aspects will be a major overhaul of the ESD build and deployment process, specifically addressing:

• Containerized, flat/native and optimized deployments
• Enhanced support for HPC builds and CI-integration

In addition, we have focused sessions on:

• Performance-optimized and service-focused deployments
• Scientific workflow integration and testing
• Testing & Quality Assurance
