For 25 years, the Brain Connectivity Workshop has been a leading forum for advancing our understanding of brain networks and connectivity.
The 2026 edition embraces the theme “bridging scale in a principled manner”, addressing one of the most profound challenges in neuroscience: integrating knowledge across spatial and temporal scales. From microcircuits to whole-brain dynamics, and from milliseconds to developmental trajectories, this workshop will explore how principled approaches can unify diverse perspectives and methodologies into coherent frameworks for understanding brain organization.
EBRAINS will have a strong presence at the event. EBRAINS researchers Dr. Spase Petkoski and Dr. Meysam Hasehemi will give a hands-on introduction to the Virtual Brain Platform, covering computational modelling and simulation of personalised brain dynamics, on 10 June at 14:00. EBRAINS Chief Science Officer Viktor Jirsa will take part in the roundtable 'Controversies in Brain Connectivity' on 12 June at 16:30.
