EBRAINS at SCA/HPCAsia 2026

In Osaka, SCA and HPCAsia cooperate and jointly host SCA/HPCAsia 2026. The collaborative and collective strength from two of Asia’ s established conferences creates synergy among key HPC researchers, academics, technology specialists and industry leaders from across the region and beyond. Under the title “Everything with HPC - AI, Cloud, QC and the Future Society,” AI, cloud and QC communities along with supercomputing community are invited to get together to create the future.

Researchers from EBRAINS and the Brain/MINDS project have teamed up to bring an interactive Birds of a Feather session to the SCA/HPCAsia conference. The session will feature a panel discussion that explores "The Symbiosis of Brain Science and Computing: Spiking Neural Networks, Virtual Brain Twins, and Synthetic Biological Intelligence."

Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in an interactive quiz and win prizes! For those attending the conference in-person, the session will take place on Tuesday 27 Jan (17:00 - 18:00 JST) in Room 1007 at the Osaka International Convention Center.
