Join the AccelNet Summer school on Human Data Management and Modelling/AI in Florence from 15-28 June 2026! The school will feature top level EBRAINS tutors who will showcase EBRAINS tools and platforms.
The Accelnet Summer school will take place at the Learning Centre Morgagni, University of Florence.
The school will be structured around scientific projects that will be developed by the students during the summer school. The school will cover the following topics:
Digital Brain Twins
Data
Large Brain Models
Brain-Computer Interfaces
AI & Synthetic Data & EBRAINS Infrastructure
Hands-on project-based workshop
Dedicated sessions on EBRAINS tools and topics will be organized with the top level tutors from EBRAINS, on the topic of Brain Atlases, Digital Brain Twins, Collaborative Research, and more.

The school classes will be structured as follows:
15-19 and 22-23 June: School Classes at Learning Centre Morgagni
24-25: EBRAINS conference on Community involvement, Education, Innovation and Interoperability. This EBRAINS Community event is also open to Summer School and AccelNet participants. It will be held at Nanabianca, a conference space in Central Florence (https://www.nanabianca.it). Registration is free and required. Register here.
26 June: EBRAINS-AccelNet Day - event dedicated to arts and science, neuroaesthetic, data science, and more. Featuring a neuro-ballet and a neuro-concert. The open session will be from 15.00 to 21.00 at Niccolini Theatre (https://www.teatroniccolini.com/).
27-28 June: AccelNet Summit at the Cherubini Conservatory.
