Researchers from the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-1) and the Cécile and Oskar Vogt Institute for Brain Research have remapped the human premotor cortex, identifying seven clearly distinguishable subareas.

From 1 December 2025, visitors to the EBRAINS website will enjoy an improved and more intuitive user experience. The revamped website features clearer navigation and a modern design that makes it easier to explore everything EBRAINS has to offer. A restructured sitemap includes new branches with a plethora of subpages addressing different target audiences.

The EBRAINS Summit 2025 taking place 8-11 December is a major international event bringing together neuroscientists, policymakers, technologists and innovators to explore the future of brain research and its impact on society.
