The International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) has opened its call for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2026 project ideas, and welcomes project ideas from the EBRAINS Community.

The Virtual Brain Twin (VBT) project participated in the EBRAINS Summit 2025 with a dedicated booth, fostering productive exchanges with researchers from the EBRAINS and VBT consortia. In addition, a VBT based session titled “EPINOV trial: Impacts and lessons learned” was featured in the Public Day.

Prof. Katrin Amunts was the head of the EU Flagship Human Brain Project. The project laid the foundation for a new brain atlas and personalised brain models, which are now available via EBRAINS. Such brain models can be used to plan tailored medical treatments.
